Oh boy, another Sony........

I''ll say this for them--back when I got an Aiwa stereo rcvr for 80 bucks, I got what I paid for. It was nothing special & I don''t have it anymore, but I don''t feel like I was ripped off. Of course, they''ll never be an audiophile brand until they appear on the back of the PARADE magazine in my Sunday paper. wink.gif border=0

I wasn''t aware Aiwa left. They made decent portable gear (Discman type stuff), but their car stereos were garbage- out of the 9 months I had one, it was away for service for the last 3 of them, and they replaced it with a player that skipped when my vehicle was parked. Their customer service was helpful- I''ll give them that, but just the quality of their stuff get them dumped onto my "do not recommend" list. <p>Not quite as bad as Samsung, whose stuff didn''t work and they compounded it with evil customer "service." They will never see another penny of mine.
