Digital Tuners

Will these new tuners allow us to connect the digital signal to our DAC to decode multi channel audio. I did read the article and hope to see this addition to a good tuner. I hope the broadcasters are able to take this into consideration. Good Music from quality Surround systems would be really nice. <BR><BR>Some of the really fun things would be most likely done by PBS. Theater productions. Four brass choirs in ST Michaels Playing Gabrielli. <BR><BR>Some of the Old radio shows recreated for home theater would be fun to <BR> <BR>You could become really car sick then as things start to move around the audio stage as well as the car moving.

<DIV><BR>That''s a good question.<BR><BR>I don''t know if I want true surround sound in my car, but a digital surround signal off the airwaves does sound pretty cool in theory.&nbsp; I''m guessing the new digital radio standard doesn''t allow for such broadcasts, though.</DIV>
