Ok, here is my problem. I have a Kenwood CD player, model #KDC-9017, and it is less than a year old. The other day everything was working fine, until I started up my car, put a new cd in. Then the CD players screen went completly blank (but the cd started playing) I pressed a button and the CD player completly died. This Kenwood is one with the motorized D-Mask faceplate, now whenever I start my car up, the faceplate flips halfway down as if it is going to eject the CD, then nothing happens. I have checked all the wiring, fuses and hooked up my factory stereo, so I know it is not the car''''s wiring. If anyone knows anything else I can try please share!!!

Have you tried a 5lb sledge hammer? It will "fix" most anything. tongue.gif border=0 <p>So it''s under a year old, I''d take it back to the dealer, pronto.<p>V

Ok just realized I was a little off with the age. It''s actually a little more than a year old smile.gif border=0 .<p>If anyone else knows something else I could check myself please let me know. If not, looks like I will have to send it back to the dealer confangry.gif border=0
