Opinions on Alpine 7897

I''''m considering purchasing the Alpine 7897 Head unit, and was wondering if anybody out there happens to have one that can give me some opinions. Have there been any problems with the deck that you have noticed or heard of? Any types of diapointments that you may have about the unit?<p>Thanks!

FeMaster,<p>Sorry. I have had two Alpine units so far. With that said, I''ll never own anything else.<br />My least head unit was retired last december because my girl got me a new one. It last for 12 years, and was only serviced once.<br />Now I have a 78** (I can''t remeber but it was about $240). I''ll check the number when I leave for home in 5 minutes. biggthumpup.gif border=0 <br />It''s a great unit. Quiet ejects, beautiful clean clear power, good FM reception, stellar channel seperation.<p>V<p>Same as the 7874, I just have last years model. I bet that 7897 is sweet, it just looks bad @ss.
