Your Denon has two sets of surround speaker terminals A & B so you can have a choice of direct radiating and/or dipole speakers.<p>Your rear(center) surrounds are the last two speaker post at the back of the receiver labeled SB/Multi( Surround back)<p>Your subwoofer out is labeled SW on the same page.<p>Page 13 of your manual.<p>Hope this helps. wink.gif border=0

You''re correct DD 6.1 or DTS Ex is only available at this time with DVD movies/music and through the optical outputs. You might want to try DPL II for some of your VHS tapes and see if you like the effect. DLP II was designed to enhance 2 channel music but feel free to experiment.<p>Have fun with your new set up. wink.gif border=0
