Re: Samsung M301 VS. Panasonic DVD-RV31

I''''m in the market for my first DVD player and I''''ve sorta narrowed it down to the Samsung M301 or the Panasonic DVD-RV31. Does anyone have any advice on which is better or are there other models I should be looking at? I''''d like it to play DVDs, MP3s and CD-Rs. My price range is in the $150-180 range. Thanks.

If you''re using an analog TV there are many excellent DVD players out there. But nowadays it will be better to get a progressive scan DVD so when you upgrade to a Digital TV you won''t have to buy a new DVD player. Panasonic, Sony, JVC and Samsung etc. offer great performing progressive scan DVD players for $215 and up.<p>Between the Samsung and Panasonic there shoudl be no problem. I believe both play MP3''s.<p> wink.gif border=0
