I am interested in a pair of monopole surrounds for about %500/pair. I have Def Tech main speakers
and want to try something else. Any suggestions?

It''s best to match all the full range speakers as closely as possible to maintain timbre consistancy.
You don''t want dramatic tonal shifts as the action pans around you for example.
TV

I have BP10''s in the front. The surrounds will be on the floor(w/stands). I am currently trying out at ProMonitor 100''s for the rear speakers.

TV,
Looking forward to a good debate with TV. Always stimulating. Always an education.
Monkey busy too... holiday madness etc. Getting on plane last minute to bring Baby Monkey to meet his great grandmother before she passes from impending liver failure (bi-product of years of cancer treatment). Not exactly the merry christmas I had hoped for, but it is the right thing to do. She will be very happy to meet Baby Monkey, and I will cherish the chance to see her one last time. She is a great woman. I can tell Baby Monkey the story of how he met her one day.
You have a good holiday and happy new year for Monkey.
tongue.gif border=0
Best wishes from The Monkey.
