Are you talking about the Sunfire True Subwoofer Signature Model? This subwoofer has 2700 watts of power.
Check it out at http://www.sunfire.com
Hope this helps.

I think the bigger Velodyne HGS subs use a digital amp they spec around 3000w *peak*.
Sunfire specs there''s around 2700w peak I think.
If you''re looking for a subwoofer, don''t get too enamored with any spec like this though...look toward verified overall performance numbers first. If the subwoofer doesn''t seem like it could meet your performance requirements...then begin breaking it down to a component level to determine the limiting factor(s) involved.
TV

Listen to TV...
Monkey agree about numbers game. A Sunfire sub (and Monkey does not mean to say anything bad about this sub at all... it rocks) only has so much power because it has to in order to move the mass of it''s mega thick and heavy (and relatively small) driver to move so much air as it does. It''s like in science class... if an ant was as big as a dinosaur it would no longer be an ant... it would be a dinosaur. Point is that Sunfire amp is as powerful as it is because that is what is required to work with that particular engineering approach. There are plenty of "less powerful" subs that perform as well or better.
Monkey
