Would like to hear from anyone who has any feedback to offer on subject speakers. Especially interested in sound for playback of both music and DVD movies, as well as overall quality and bi-amp performance.

Stay away from it. Not a very hi-end brand.
Spend your money on something else.

They had a rich sound, at a friends house with the HT setup. They performed good, and they are not a low end brand tvjunkie.
Masher

I have been a huge Cambridge Soundworks fan for years. For the money, they are tough to beat. I have owned a pair of Model Six''s (8" bookshelf), which are now available for only $160.00/pr. (don''t let the price fool ya.) and a small CS sub. They will fill a rather large room with beautiful sound.
Given my positive experiences with these speakers, I have just purchased 9 speakers from them to fill a newly constructed home theatre. I have not yet hooked everything, but the T500 towers and P1000 sub are awesome. I have been listening to some Stevie Ray Vaughn with extreme pleasure.
CS has a 45 day return-at-no-cost policy, so you have nothing to lose by ordering them and trying them out. Good luck.

I''ve heard the cambridge speakers in a few retail stores in the mall, and they were in my opinion decent. Try listening to Paradigm speakers as well if there''s a dealer near you. I have a pair of their lower costing set and for the money it''s hard to beat.

Have owned CS Ensemble II speakers for 10 years and recently bought Paradigm Mini Monitors (bookshelf) and am very disapointed I didn''t buy speakers sooner. I listened to all the Tower speakers when they first came out about 5 years ago at a retail store in a mall and was extremely disapointed. It''s been awhile, but I remember them being very flat without much depth to them. For that much money there are a lot of speakers to listen to, I personaly like Paradign & NHT (2.5i''s).
