I''ve been X-Boxed!

Well, Santa <my wife> has ended my dilema of what console to get. I am now the owner of an X-Box! Well, I must say playing Halo is quite an experience, I am very impressed - 2 person co-op play is excellent! But on top of that, DOA3 is what I would call eye-opening <for many reasons - <p>No overheating of my unit even after is has been on for hours and hours. So that is somewhat of a relief after hearing of a few units having problems with that. The stock controller does seem rather large [especially when compared to the PS2 DSC}, but at the same time, I''''ve gotten pretty used to it already. Overall, things are looking pretty good so far!

congradulations! you must have been very good this year to recieve such a cool gift, check out the latest xbox magazine demo it has this one title that is truly the next level in graphics its called brute force i can''t wait, can i recomend some games to check out, odd world very kool graphics puzzle plateformer very funny, max payne very graphic kool bullet time affect something like the movie matrix, bloodwake something like twisted metal meets wave race, gotham racing very nice cars and tracks,good luck with your xbox i know you will be very happy with it as am i with my unit, one more thing get the hi def pack it has component video out with an optical out for superb 5.1 audio and progressive video...

Thanks for the kind words! I''m having tons of fun playing Halo and DOA3 for now. I actually got Project Gotham Racing too, but I have yet to open it and try it out since I''m still busy with the other 2 games... I''ll have to check out your other recommendations as well...<p>Currently, I''m using Monster''s S-video cable <and the matching optical cable>. The picture has been wonderful <much better than with the standard A/V cables that come with the unit> and the 5.1 surround sound is pretty impressive in Halo...
