OK. Last time. If this doesn''t work, computer is out the window (''cause it aint my fault I can''t figure this out /idealbb/images/smilies/9.gif).

Using your Rat. Shack meter and cal. disk, what SPL level do you have your sub calibrated to when compared with your other speakers. (What does the meter say- forget about corrections, etc.)

Wow. 5-10dbs hot! And you''re using RF7''s too!

How''s music sound with that? I guess if your crossover is set to 40hz, you''re not getting much out of the sub with 2 channel (CD material), correct?

I run mine about -1db. Running mains as small, crossover at 90hz (damn yamaha, I''d like to try 60hz for the mains and 80 for the center/surrounds).

So far, it seems I''m running mine shy of others here.

C''mon people, let''s see how everyone''s running theirs.

Your right, not as much info on most 2 channel below 40hz, but there is some that surprise me sometimes. The movies though....thats when it gets fun. I thought I had my windows rattle treated.....but last night we watched IRobot and I discovered they arent even close to being rattle proof./idealbb/images/smilies/9.gif
My sub is the same level for SACD/DVDA playback sense my pioneer 578a has weak bass output and with adjusting the gain structure on my componets I really can''t boost the bass any.

Other than using direct mode on my reciever, my sub runs about 1 to 2 dBs hot.
