In a recent thread you gave a link for a DIY rack. www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/tweaks.html
I like that sight alot and have become very interested in the DIY projects. There are alot of great things being built by those people. Did you read the one about the power-cords. That is why I asked about the Ferrite pieces. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks for posting that link. biggthumpup.gif border=0
My next project will be the cd rack (only smaller scale) Thanks again!!
Sure..now that I mentioned it, that web page wont come up..Whats up with that
< March 22, 2002: Message edited by: audioaholic > angryfire.gif border=0 Hopefully it will come up later.. confused4.gif border=0
< March 22, 2002: Message edited by: audioaholic >OK its back up now!!! biggthumpup.gif border=0
< March 22, 2002: Message edited by: audioaholic >

I usually read most stuff for personal enjoyment. The last time I made a DIY electronic project it ended up in flames angryfire.gif border=0
Some of the tweaks seem useful enough. I personally like the isolation tweaks which prevents vibrations from coming to your components. I''m renting a house with a wooden floor so you can imagine what happens when I turn the volume up. I use to have problems with my CD player skipping because of the vibrations from the floor. I finally isolated the CD player from the rack by suspending it on fishing lines. Not really glamourous but it works!
I''m glad you found the link useful. Send us pics of your finished projects when you get the chance.
BTW your link still works.
wink.gif border=0
