Does anyone know how to reset a Pioneer receiver that has gone into stand-by mode because of a power outage?

Off the top of my head, I'm going to guess that pressing and holding the On/Off button while unplugging it from the wall and/or while plugging in, may just do the trick.

If your owner's manual doesn't offer the How-To for resetting it, give us the model number and I'm certain someone around here will be able to get you back up and running.

Generally the "hard reset" is in the owner's manual. Pioneer has them on their website, but you have to register and get a login to see them.
