I've put it through some paces today.
Independence Day was dtsHD MA - sounded & looked great!
The Dark Knight was Dolby TrueHD - sounded & looked great
Regular DVD looked very good, upscaled
Homemade DVD looked very good, upscaled
SACD sounded very good (Norah Jones - Come Away With Me)
DVD-Audio sounded very good (Yes - Fragile)
AIX disc that came with the player, sounded & looked very good
I also had to check out a little bit of Transformers 2. Again, sounded & looked very good.

I'll keep an eye out for Band of Brothers on sale. Cheapest I've seen it is $56 at Sam's Club. About everywhere else, it's been $75. Now I'm gonna have to step up my Netflix to BD too.

So far, we're very happy with the new player.
